The mission of the Community Development Corporation (CDC) is to allocate low interest loans, arrange venture and angel capital investment and to develop unique financing mechanisms that will induce economically viable projects in partnership with both the private and public sectors of Bloomington-Normal.

The CDC will strategically enhance business development opportunities as well as create capital investment and workforce opportunities for the Bloomington-Normal area. The goal of the initiative is to create a mechanism to capitalize projects that will enliven commercial districts, increase job creation, and enhance wealth creation in our community.  Financial support and partners in the CDC include local:
