In 2006, community leaders came together to create the EDC's five-year strategic plan, "Navigating a New Direction." Through the support of our investors, we exceeded our five-year goals for jobs created/retained and new capital investment. "Navigating a New Direction" was a good start, however, we continue to push forward to stimulate more economic growth and improve McLean County's quality of life with the creation and implementation of our next five-year initiative called "Forging Ahead." This five year initiative (2012-2016) promises to remain true to the EDC's core mission, while bringing tighter focus on new business recruitment and existing business expansion. Below are the investors that have already signed on for the five-year initiative, the number continues to grow each day.
